High-Performance 1.5 HP Motor

Powered by a 1.5 HP TEFC motor, the Powermatic 140 provides reliable cutting power for hardwoods, softwoods, and engineered wood materials. The motor is prewired for 115V and easily convertible to 230V for workshop flexibility.

Wide Cutting Capacity

With a 13-1/2" throat width and 6" cutting height, the bandsaw handles most woodworking tasks with ease. When equipped with an optional 6-inch riser block, the resaw capacity increases to 12 inches.

Precision Cast Iron Wheels

The 14-inch cast iron wheels are precision-balanced to minimize vibration, improve blade tracking, and extend blade life—ensuring smooth and accurate cuts.

Versatile Blade Compatibility

Supports blade widths from 1/8" to 3/4", making the Powermatic 140 suitable for fine scroll work, curved cuts, and straight-line ripping.

Large Cast Iron Work Table

The heavy-duty 15" x 15" cast iron table with an integrated 15" x 5" extension provides excellent material support. The table tilts 45° to the right and 10° to the left for bevel and angled cuts.

Stable One-Piece Frame Design
