The QFluids C-5200 Semi Synthetic Coolant, 5 Gallon is engineered as a heavy-duty machining fluid developed to perform in both metal cutting and metal forming operations. Designed as a semi-synthetic water-soluble cutting fluid, it delivers the cooling characteristics of synthetics while retaining the lubricity associated with soluble oils. C-5200 is fortified with extreme-pressure additives, enabling it to replace straight oils in many applications while maintaining clean operation, stable emulsions, and long fluid life.
This coolant supports consistent performance in both hard and soft water and will not form hard-water soaps or excessive foam. Its mild pH helps keep machines free of sticky residues and tramp-oil buildup, promoting operator comfort and system cleanliness. Suitable for individual sumps and central systems, C-5200 is compatible with multiple metals—including carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminum, copper alloys, and tool steels.
